Facebook this week introduced their new Ad API to make it easier for journalists and researchers to examine ads dealing with the latest news, and political environment.
This API includes the start and finish date showing the dates and all the stats for analysis.
This transparency is in response to the Cambridge Analytical data breach. Now Facebook’s watchdog groups and researchers can see what’s really going on. Good for the users and advertisers.
Facebook at this time seems very aggressive in getting rid of apps that don’t comply with their new restrictions. They’ve already removed over 400 apps from the platform.
