Best Eyelid Surgeon in Beverly Hills: Using Social Media Helps Patients.

// March 1st, 2012 // No Comments » // Social Media

I’ve blogged about this before but I wanted to give an update on our work for TabanMD. He’s embraced social media and it has paid off. When he first started working with RiglerDigital he had a self-built yahoo website, without a blog or social media game plan. He now has a sleek Joomla CMS site and a growing popular blog and Twitter page. He had 40 followers to start and now has over 300 followers. His Facebook account has held steady at about 340 followers. We’re still working on growing that page’s following. He also runs a beautiful wordpress theme blog here. This blog and his social media has pushed him up in SEO results. He’s now on the first page for Oculoplastic Surgeon Beverly Hills and Santa Barbara. His passion is to help people and his skills as a surgeon is reflected in his online presence. With his social media game plan in place his practice continues to grow weekly. So if you haven’t given much thought to your social media accounts you need to it is important.

Facebook unleashed it’s new layout. Unfortunately it’s so much like twitter the two are blending their features:

1.homepage login.

2.timeline in twitter like friend’s updates on the right

3.Lists, just like twitter you can create Lists on Facebook.

4.Notification of stories like twitter’s new tweets alert.

5. Icon, picture next to username in top right.

Very similar.. is LinkedIn next?

Robert The Agent Colorado Realtor TabanMD

I’ve been extremely busy which is great and I’ve said it before I love my customers.  Two new sites that I’m working with are TabanMD and RobertTheAgent.
1st there’s TabanMD.  Dr. Mehryar Taban is an oculo-facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon.  He is located in Beverly Hills, and has offices in Santa Barbara and Jules Stein clinic at UCLA.  We recently redesigned his site with the CMS  Joomla! (I’m a big fan of Joomla).  He now has the ability to add or change pictures and text.  However, now that the site is up his main concern is getting noticed and new patients.  Who uses the Yellow Pages?   Google, Bing, or Yahoo are used for finding services today. Time to start working your social media accounts.  The big three social media sites: Twitter, Facebook and Youtube.  I just saw an ad for Sears at the end of the ad they have the three social media icons displayed promptly.  SEARS yes the old catalog store is now participating full swing 2.0.  TabanMD has about 40 fans on Facebook.  I would recommend running some contests and placing a facebook ad together.  Perhaps a deal on botox or latisse, something to draw people in.
Robert Krieger is a realtor in the Erie, Colorado area his site RobertTheAgent.com was not designed by riglerdigital.com but he does use a CMS, WordPress as a matter of fact. This is useful for Robert to add new listings in the Colorado area.  His major areas of selling and buying homes in Colorado are: Anthem Highlands, Broadlands Broomfield, Wildgrass Broomfield, Rock Creek Superior, Louisville, Lafayette, Broomfield, and Superior.  Riglerdigital.com is now handling the set up of RobertTheAgent’s social media accounts.   The main objective to reach at least 1,000 visitors a month to the site.  To achieve success would mean a consistent flow of content and participation to all, ie, the big three.  Success comes with sincere interaction with all fans and subscribers.   This is advice that I myself can use at riglerdigital.com.

Pagemodo is great for your Facebook Page.

Design your Facebook Fan page

Design your Facebook Fan page

Tired of your current Facebook fan page but not sure how to style it just right?  Forget about trying to develop the code and frustrating attempts at customizing.  Use Pagemodo and easily develop an eye catching fan page.  With Pagemodo you can stand out from your competitors which chances are they have a boring Facebook page.  Just click thru to the free templates and follow the button prompts thru each part of your new page.  My only suggestion, have about six images that you are ready to use, as well as your text for each section.  Hmm. which is why my page isn’t pagemodo’d out yet.

Digital Media TV: Episode 3 Tweetdeck is Valuable.

// February 21st, 2010 // No Comments » // Social Media, Tech

I am still enthusiastic about twitter. Better late than never. But one tool that helps me with all of my social media accounts is tweetdeck. Tweetdeck has a great interface that lists columns of: all friends, mentions, new followers, and searches. It works very well with twitpic and youtube videos. If you don’t have it download it now, it’s free. Keep participating.

Digital Media TV: Episode 2

Wanted to emphasize again to do it now! I mean register your domain – (passion) build your blog/website and start participating.  Now’s the time.  In this week’s video I also talk about one of our customer’s MJSuberStudio.  Melissa Suber manages her online presence there.  She has worked in the animation industry (Disney, Dreamworks, Nickelodeon) for over 10 years and is an accomplished fine artist.  You can also follow her on Twitter.

Digital Agent: Requires Participation on Social Media

// February 5th, 2010 // No Comments » // Social Media, Tech

I’ve finally put a vid together for Rigler Digital Media TV on Youtube.  For any company or artist you need to participate for your website to be a success.  Even if you were manufacturing paperclips, social media would give you an edge over the next guy.  Enjoy my first video.

More than just a website. Social Media required.

Social Media Sitestwitterbutton-0101
I’ve blogged about it before but it has become a deafening noise on the internet.  Your social media status.  Work is key.  You can’t just blog a few articles and then think “hey how come I’m not making any money from my Google adsense account?”  The work called for is participation and sincerity. Truly care about your followers.  RT @ back atcha.  Give an honest opinion/voice.  I would say be open and be yourself.  Have you tweeted today, thanked a follower, written on yours or anyone’s wall.  Get crackin, life’s short. This post was completely inspired by Gary Vaynerchuk of WineLibraryTV fame. WMFYMQP26DUK
