I can’t believe the original Law & Order is about to go off the air. And the pain of it…almost breaking the longest-running live action show record. Sigh. Now it will forever be paired with Gunsmoke when the record is mentioned. When in need of some good drama, I always knew I could count on it being broadcast on some station thanks to the sheer number of episodes.

It’s also been providing great work for character actors and actors just getting started for years! And not just character actors…have you noticed that EVERYONE makes it to Law & Order eventually? Once they started spinning them off – SVU, Criminal Intent, Miami (oops, wrong series) – they had a lot of bad guys to cast. What’s going to happen when the Los Angeles version starts filming? A lot less character if you ask me.

Hey, even yours truly has been on SVU. What, you missed the episode? Stabler and Benson get some fast food and I’m on the plate.

Well, I want to come clean and let people know that she’s been tripping on me folks. It ain’t easy being short. (Though there are some benefits. Chelsea Handler, you’ve got my number. And let me just say that I need help with my audition tape.)

Sigh. I’m sure Lindsay’s going stop asking me out. What’s she going to say? She’s been tripping on her friend, the kernel of corn? Then they’ll never believe she’s not still doing drugs.

Well, I think it’s finally time that I confess that I too have been one of Tiger Woods’ paramours. What can I say? He’s addicted to corn. As for me, he just buttered me up and I was his.

Ok, well this is not true but the way he’s going it might as well be. The question has always been…”What was he thinking?” and that sure has not changed with the new Nike ad. Only now it’s not just what was he thinking but what were the ad firm and Nike thinking? How can anyone watch that ad and not be creeped out?

I think Tiger needs a conscience – a modern-day Jiminy Cricket – to help guide future decisions and keep him from any more errors of judgment. And I hereby volunteer for the job.
